Rigging a bear, robot and doll.

Rigging a bear, robot and doll.

I scripted my rigging as I went alot, so alot of what I did can be replicated easily in the future. It took 2 weeks for all 3 rigs to be completed (the doll and bear calamari rigs were done well under), excluding skinning and corrective blendshapes- particularly for the podgy bear, fat characters don't make it easy! I included dynamics for the robot and bear, and a useful sliding pivot which made it easy to animate the robot.

Animation and Cinematography

**To be updated** Here is the animation for shots 01 and 02. I did 3 shots in total, taking approx. 2 days per shot- one day for blocking, the other for splining. I wish I could have done more- I thoroughly enjoyed animating for BFX!

I finished work a little early, so was put on credits- and what a joy! I forgot about my love for simple, 2D art. I included a 2D animation, with inspiration taken from 'Thought of You' by Ryan Woodward.
